Hi, I’m Cecelia "Cece" Carrera — founder of BistroCat, wife, mom of four, and former pet food executive with a lifelong love for cats.

After a decade in the pet food industry at companies like The J.M. Smucker Company and BrightPet Nutrition Group, I still found feeding my own cats a healthy wet diet to be messy, inconvenient, and inconsistent. I knew there had to be a better way. So I decided to build it.

But this isn’t just about convenience. Wet food supports hydration, kidney health, and weight management — especially for indoor and aging cats. By making it easy to serve the right food at the right time, BistroCat helps cat parents support longer, healthier lives for their pets.

BistroCat isn’t just a feeder. It’s a smarter, healthier way to care for your cat — and I’m proud to finally share it with the world.

I’m proof that women can do it all. I built BistroCat while raising four daughters — speaking on industry stages while nine months pregnant, closing investor rounds with a newborn in my lap, and juggling product development between school pickups. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s possible. And every step has been a reminder that building a business and a family aren’t opposing paths — they can fuel each other.
